  • Identity is changing. Organizations are drowning in a sea of non-human identities — service accounts, device accounts, tokens, API keys, and now a rising tide of AI agent accounts. That’s the theme of Identity Management Day this year: “existential identity.” Traditional IAM and IGA tools are struggling, leaving security teams missing the visibility and context they desperately need. This growing web of non-human identities are all interconnected with the human identities in the enterprise. We need to understand the context of these connections: What permissions NHIs have? Which human authorized the NHI’s access? And what are NHIs doing with that access? These are the fundamental questions of existential identity. How is your organization answering them? #IdentityManagementDay

  • Cyberattacks on schools are becoming all too common. Threat actors don’t always target schools directly—they exploit vulnerabilities in the tools schools rely on. That’s exactly what happened to education tech provider PowerSchool in December 2024: Attackers used stolen credentials to access an SSO platform—and weak or missing MFA made it easy for them to get in. With Oleria, organizations gain visibility into these vulnerabilities across platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, and Entra ID—helping prevent breaches before they happen. Enterprises are eager to embrace generative AI, but many are treading carefully—worried about exposing sensitive data to the wrong eyes. AI-powered enterprise search tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot are taking off, promising to supercharge productivity by surfacing the right information faster. But are they as secure as they seem? The reality: Over-provisioned access remains a major risk, and without enforcing least-privilege access, sensitive data could still be at stake. In our latest blog, we dive into the hidden risks of M365 Copilot and why true zero-trust security demands more than just access controls. ➡️🔗 https://bit.ly/4l7Sz7L

Some startling stats from CrowdStrike’s 2025 Global Threat Report: cloud incidents caused by valid account abuse account for 35% of breaches, and 52% of vulnerabilities are linked to initial access. A whopping 79% of detections were malware-free, using legitimate remote access tools. Meanwhile, phishing attacks (the most common way attackers obtain legitimate credentials) have surged by an astonishing 442%. How can you protect your business from becoming another statistic? The key is early detection of credential abuse plus enhanced visibility into access and usage (hint: that's where Oleria comes in). When sensitive data is compromised, security teams need answers fast. Traditional investigation methods require manually stitching together identity and access evidence across disconnected systems and logs, which can take days when every minute counts. Oleria eliminates the manual, swivel-chair work and gives you the answers you need in seconds.

Nearly 70% of the Fortune 500 use Microsoft 365 Copilot, and 77,000+ enterprises are adopting GitHub Copilot. So, the role of AI copilots in business is growing fast. Companies are seeing significant ROI, with some reporting up to a 270% return on AI investments. The ugly side of those numbers: Only half of Microsoft 365 Copilot users have deployed it company-wide, and just 6% of companies have scaled their projects. Even more concerning, only 3.3% of IT leaders report real value from Copilot. There’s huge value to be gained from the effective deployment of AI copilots. But getting past the barriers and stall points requires addressing the fundamental identity security risks—like over-permissioning and data exposure—that can make AI copilots particularly dangerous. Read our latest blog to discover how to secure AI Copilot adoption with our TRUST framework. ➡️🔗 https://bit.ly/425EPBF

  • Identity attacks are rising—is your security keeping up? With 80% of breaches linked to compromised credentials and identity-targeted attacks surging 71% year-over-year, organizations are under growing pressure to modernize access management. Security teams are struggling to manage this rising risk effectively because they lack clear visibility across their identity and access. Traditional identity security tools are siloed—and finding critical answers requires manually sifting through fragmented data. The Oleria Trustfusion platform solves that fragmentation—and Oleria Copilot makes getting those answers quick and easy. Just ask! Copilot lets security teams interact with Oleria’s broad and fine-grained identity security data in a natural, conversational manner. No more digging through endless menus and reports—just immediate, actionable insights based on a deep understanding of your security posture. Hear from Oleria CEO Jim Alkove on what this means for our customers. ⏩
