A major upgrade for Antarctica! 🚢 McMurdo Station, Antarctica's primary U.S. research facility, is set to benefit from a new floating barge pier. Funded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this pier is scheduled for completion in 2025 and will provide a stable resupply system for the station. ORSC is providing the necessary performance and payment bonds for the $44 million project. After its completion, the pier will be towed from Portland and is expected to reach its new home in Antarctica by February 2026. Learn more about the project here: https://hubs.ly/Q03cJLhp0
