Last night, we celebrated our loyal donors who support OMRF year after year! 🩵 Our Loyal Donor Society includes members who give consistently for five years and beyond, no matter the gift amount. We have donors who have given each year for more than 5, 10, 15, 20 and all the way up to 69 years! 🤩 They got an up-close look at some of the research OMRF's scientists and labs are working on and at what their generosity supports. 🧬🔬

Last night we celebrated our 2024-25 class of Teen Leaders after a successful and memorable year! Oklahoma high schoolers learned more about the nonprofit community and how our biomedical research impacts Oklahomans and beyond. This year's class of Teen Leaders raised more than $7,500 for OMRF! We are so proud of all their hard work. 👏

Yesterday, Stillwater High School's Pink Out Week group visited for a tour and to present their check for more than $15,000, all of which will go to cancer research at OMRF! 💖 We are so grateful for the support from Stillwater and other schools and organizations, who take the time and effort to support us!

Can increasing fitness slow aging? If you're 60 or older, two OMRF scientists are seeking Oklahoma City-area residents to complete a comprehensive study for people in that age group who do not regularly exercise. 🏃🏋️ ➡️Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gyGDfNNF

In 2013, OMRF joined three universities – Virginia, the University of Chicago, and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School – as sites for BioLAB. Since that time, OMRF has hosted 101 graduate-level interns through the program. “It’s been a great addition to OMRF because it brings young, energetic students to our labs,” says Deshmukh. 🇵🇱 Read more about the BioLAB program: https://lnkd.in/gf6utKB3

Last week, our scientific staff gathered for the annual OMRF Scientific Retreat!🧬 Scientists, postdocs and graduate students had the opportunity to present their research with one another and collaborate for future projects. We had some fun along the way too! 😃
