New OBHG data confirms the power of CNM integration in OB hospitalist programs: • 29.3% lower C-section rates compared to the national average • 76.1% fewer episiotomies • 23.9% reduction in severe perineal lacerations • 47.1% fewer severe lacerations in instrument-assisted deliveries These findings reinforce what we see every day—collaborative care between OB/GYNs and CNMs leads to safer births and better outcomes for mothers and babies.
