Did you know that the carbon footprint of 1 cubic meter of aluminum has a carbon footprint of almost 29,000 kgs of CO2? That's 11 time the weight of the material itself! The carbon footprint 1 m3 of MDF, on the other hand, is NEGATIVE 1,740 kgs of CO2...because all wood products are sequestering more naturally captured carbon than is released in their production and use.
