Last week, Senator Latham Tiver (R-8), Senator Doug Steinhardt (R-23) and Senator Carmen Amato Jr. (R-9) had the pleasure of touring the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 new training center in Edison. They took the chance to try out the state-of-the-art simulators and get hands-on with the equipment.

Despite a 6-hour energy legislative hearing, Trenton Democrats still don’t get it—their extreme policies are why our skyrocketing electric bills will jump another 20% this summer! 🔥 🚨 Gov. Murphy & Democrats were warned by us and industry leaders but ignored reality, forcing New Jerseyans to pay the price for their progressive Energy "Disaster" Plan. #nj #newjersey #energy #energypolicy #affordability #progressive #senate #taxes #electricbills #costs #pressconference

NJ school districts are in crisis. Senate GOP Budget Officer Declan O'Scanlon (R-Monmouth) is fighting for our children with a bill to lift Governor Murphy's new cap on school aid increases. O'Scanlon: “I’m introducing legislation to restore full funding to districts hit by State aid cuts—ensuring they have the resources to provide a quality education without being held back by politically driven limits.” 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ghhk4hmN #nj #newjersey #schools #education #students #teachers #monmouthcounty #legislation #schoolfunding #schoolaid

Senator Kristin M. Corrado's (R-40) bipartisan bill to penalize individuals who create or share unlawful deepfakes is now law. ✅ Unlawfully generated AI media can have devastating consequences, especially for our children and victims of explicit content. With the Governor’s signature, New Jersey is taking a crucial step to protect individuals, uphold transparency in the digital age, and hold bad actors accountable. #nj #newjersey #deepfake #ai #legislation #children #students #digital #law

New Jersey’s energy crisis is a direct result of failed Democratic policies that have skyrocketed costs for families and businesses. Senator Latham Tiver (R-8) has introduced the "Energy Security and Affordability Act" to lower bills, protect consumers, and secure a reliable energy future for the Garden State. 🔗 Read Sen. In case you missed last week’s one-sided energy prices hearing, it was nothing more than political theater, where Trenton Democrats tried to use the “Shaggy” defense: it wasn’t me. But their failed and radical energy policies are the real culprits behind our soaring energy bills, which are set to rise another 20% this summer. #nj #newjersey #energy #affordability #meme

Senator Holly Schepisi’s (R-39) bipartisan bill was signed into law by Governor Murphy, cracking down on organized retail theft and enhancing public safety. Brazen “smash and grab” crimes have cost businesses billions, endangered workers, and driven up prices. S-3587 strengthens New Jersey law by increasing penalties, targeting stolen goods resale, combating gift card fraud, and protecting retail workers. 🔗 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e8ykYNP9 #nj #newjersey #legislation #retailtheft #organizedcrime #retail #workers #publicsafety #bipartisan

💰 Budget season is underway! The Senate Budget Committee received the State's fiscal forecast and testimony from the Department of the Treasury. Governor Murphy’s record-breaking budget proposal includes over $1 BILLION in new taxes on everything from alcohol and vehicle trade-ins to even bowling! 💸 Senators O'Scanlon (R-Monmouth), Testa (R-Cumberland), Steinhardt (R-Warren), and Amato (R-Ocean) are fighting to protect our hard-working taxpayers, asking the tough questions, and holding the administration accountable for their reckless spending. #nj #newjersey #fiscalpolicy #budget #taxpayer #affordability #taxes #taxhike #senate #hearing #testimony

🔌 NJ’s rising electricity costs are the direct result of radical Democrat energy policies that prioritize ideology over reality. Gov. Murphy’s rush to 100% clean energy by 2035 is unrealistic and unaffordable—forcing reliable power offline, driving up costs, and putting our grid at risk. ⚠️ We cannot become the California of the East Coast. #nj #newjersey #energy #affordability #utilitybills #electricbills #costs #greenenergy #republican
