After nearly 30 years, it’s time to celebrate the next chapter for our longtime colleague Steve Gwin! Steve started his journey back in 1995 with Bekaert Engineering in Lakewood, NJ, and after the merger with Niehoff Endex, he changed his commute to Swedesboro, NJ. Over the years, he’s worn many hats in manufacturing, spending most of his time as Manufacturing Supervisor and, more recently, as part of the Global Production Team. His dedication and experience will definitely be missed! Now, Steve gets to enjoy more time with his family and grandkids while continuing his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity—which sounds like a pretty great retirement plan to us! We are pleased to announce that Johannes Weber will take over the function of Service Manager for Niehoff Endex. He will be based in Swedesboro, NJ. Johannes has a background of 25 years field service experience with the Niehoff Group. He started his career in Germany and relocated in 2017 to the US. His last role was Service Account Manager. We are happy that he will lead our service team to support continues improvement for our team and our customers. We are celebrating the retirement of our Service Manager Rene Israel. He joined Niehoff in Germany as field service engineer in 1997. Rene transferred to Niehoff Endex 2003 as field service engineer and got promoted to Service Manager in 2005 and held this role since. Over his 22 years with NENA he supported our customers with his technical expertise to keep their machine in optimum working condition and helped our spare parts team searching for parts. As part of his family relocated recently to Spain there will be travel again in his near future as he enters the next phase in his life. The Niehoff Group held its 6th annual Global Production Team Meeting at the Headquarter plant in Schwabach, Germany. Next to practical Gemba work shops and discussions we also had some fun at bowling. Niehoff Endex participated as well and we were able to reconnect with our colleagues from all Niehoff sites.
