He'll introduce SameStr—a new tool for strain-resolved metagenomics, now available via GitHub and the CloWM platform. SameStr enables precise microbial tracking using SNVs in marker genes and has already been applied to over 120,000 metagenomic samples to study parent-infant transfer, gut stability, and therapeutic interventions like FMT. Thematisiert wurden u.a.: 📌 Entscheidungen im Rahmen von Base4NFDI 📌 NFDI als EOSC Candidate Node 📌 Strategie und Governance 📌 Bericht zu den Landesinitiativen durch Magdalene Cyra (Landesinitiative für Forschungsdatenmanagement – fdm.nrw) 📌 ... Im Anschluss an die offizielle Sitzung wurden im Rahmen einer Klausur in kleineren Gruppen weitere Themen bearbeitet. A new filterable strain table 🦠 can be used for searching 🔎and downloading 📚 of information. Researchers and institutions are now linked with ORCID and ROR - Research Organization Registry IDs. There is also a new API 🗃️ version!
