In honor of Black History Month and Women’s History Month, the Minorities in the Profession Committee of the New York City Bar Association is commemorating the one-year anniversary of oral arguments being held before the Appellate Division, First Department for the first time by an all- female African American bench. The bench was comprised of Presiding Justice Dianne T. Renwick, Justice Troy K. Webber, Justice Tanya R. Kennedy, Justice Bahaati Pitt-Burke, and Justice Marsha D. Michael.
