It was great to meet in person with our #a2PilotAwards colleagues from #MassAITC (VP Nguyen, Deepak Ganesan, Tanvi Kandepuneni, Abdul Aziz) at the #a2NationalSymposium in Boston this week to present our advances in AI-enabled bioelectronic restoration of the body's aging balance system. Thank you to all of the speakers for an inspiring 2 days of updates on the impact ai is having on healthcare for our aging populations!

Non-invasive bioelectronic devices for diagnosing and treating balance disruptions caused by aging, injuries or disease.
About us
Neursantys stands at the forefront of non-invasive bioelectronics, addressing neuromotor and neurocognitive conditions lacking widespread pharmacological solutions. Our flagship product platform, NEURVESTA, delivers the world’s first restorative neuroplastic treatment for age-related balance decline, a medical condition that is now known to begin as early as age 40 and affect over 70 million people in Canada and the U.S. alone.

Thank you Kate for joining the a2 National Symposium "Funders and Dealmakers" session and visiting our poster for a NEURVESTA demo!

✨ Had an amazing time at the #a2NationalSymposium. Loved being part of the #Funders and #Dealmakers #ReversePitch panel alongside such an impressive group of investors. Super energizing talking with so many innovative founders during the #SpeedMentoring Sessions. 🌈 Some highlights for me: Connecting with John Ralston and learning about Neursantys which 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 balance to meaningfully reduce the likelihood of falls. Hearing from Pattie Maes about some of the great 𝗰𝗼-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 being done at the MIT Media Lab ( 🙌 designing with, not for older audiences FTW❣️). Getting a chance to connect with Hon Pak of Samsung Electronics who's talk 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗡𝗼 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲: 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 at SXSW in 2022 with Deborah Di Sanzo was when I realized #AgeTech was a thing. In-depth conversations with fellow funders Alan MacIntosh, Denise Saltojanes, Jim Doscher, James Hueston, John Brzezenski, Jeff Chu and Bailey Paxton ⛵. The conversations I started and look forward to continuing with Susann Keohane ( 😂 Loved the✨ 𝘙𝘦𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳... story you shared) and Catherine Sarkisian a #Geriatrician from San Diego about meaningful lab result information, personalized for older audiences. David R. Paquette, PhD thanks so much for the invite and Stephen Liu for the guidance. Allison Byers loved having a chance to represent. #PutAWomanOnIt

A big shout out to Cortex Design for their key role in transforming our NEURVESTA balance restoration platform from a lab prototype to a clinically deployable product!
Neursantys has partnered with @Caring Hands Caregivers to pilot its NEURVESTA bioelectronic device, which uses non-invasive vestibular stimulation therapy (VST) to investigate the improvement of balance and reduce fall risks in seniors. In a six-week trial at The Forum at Rancho San Antonio, 30 of 32 participants saw significant improvements, with high-fall-risk cases dropping from 17 to just 4. This is one of several pilot clinics that Neursantys has launched with senior care providers and physical therapists in the U.S. and Canada, under an IRB approved study (NCT06846047 on ClinicalTrials.gov). Cortex Design played a key role in transforming NEURVESTA from a lab prototype into a clinically deployable product. Our work included formative #usability studies, industrial design, hardware and firmware development, and the creation of a portable, battery-swappable device for real-world trial use. Cortex also developed an intuitive UI to help clinicians monitor therapy effectiveness, ensuring NEURVESTA's success in clinical and assisted-living settings. Great connecting with the Cortex team in Toronto last week!
Last week, Cortex Design attended the OBIO Conference. The event was an incredible opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and witness the progress of so many innovative medical device companies in the ecosystem. It’s always inspiring to see the hard work and dedication driving the advancement of healthcare technologies. We were especially thrilled to reconnect with our partners, clients, and portfolio companies at the event including John Ralston from Neursantys. Seeing their successes reinforces our passion for supporting medtech innovation through human-centered design, engineering, and manufacturing transfer. A big thank you to OBIO Bibaswan Ghoshal, Parnian Tajbakhsh for organising such a dynamic and impactful event. We’re excited to continue collaborating with this vibrant community to help shape the future of healthcare! #OBIOConference #MedTech #HealthcareInnovation
