NEC ranks first in the world once again in face recognition accuracy testing conducted by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a world-renowned authority. 🏆 Face recognition technology is widely used to improve customer experience and security in areas such as access control, hospitality, in-store payments, and ATM procedures. At the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, which opens on the 13th of this month, NEC will provide the face recognition system for payment at stores in the venue and for admission control for those who have purchased a full-year or summer passes.
