We’re excited to share that Replay Destinations has unveiled Summit by Olson Kundig, luxury residences within the Ascent at the Phoenician community in Scottsdale, Arizona, led by design principal Kirsten Murray, FAIA. “Our design integrates with the mountain landscape, where red sandstone meets the open sky,” Kirsten shared. “Materials such as local stone anchor the structure to its Camelback Mountain setting, while refined metal screens respond to the shifting desert light, creating an ever-evolving architectural expression. We are pleased to unveil the Mountain Club, a beautiful private residential amenity that has opened its door to Ascent at The Phoenician® homeowners.  Its striking design is a cotemporary interpretation of the nearby iconic Jokake Inn, with architecture by Nelsen Partners | Architects & Planners and interiors by Vallone Design. Featured throughout are imagery and artifacts courtesy of our historical partners, Museum of the West, creating connection to the context and history of this region. This marks a major milestone in the journey of one of the most anticipated residential developments in the region. 🏗️✨ This achievement is the result of hard work, dedication, and collaboration between our incredible teams, partners, and everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. From the foundation to the final touches, The Ascent at The Phoenician offers state-of-the-art facilities with world-class experiences and picturesque backdrops for residents and visitors. 🌵🌆 We successfully used blasting techniques to cut back Camelback Mountain and stabilized the hillside slope with a unique shotcrete wall design, showcasing our innovative approach to challenging projects. For many, it was their first time canoeing, ziplining, or cooking over a campfire! Through team-building, physical challenges, and leadership exercises, we aim to help youth build confidence, overcome fears, and create lasting friendships as they prepare for middle school and beyond.
