Last month the GOHA Food & Water lead Francis de los Reyes III, Ph.D., BCEEM attended the UNICEF Sustainable WASH Innovation Hub event in Copenhagen. 🔊Take a listen below to learn about his three key takeaways from the event!
Such rich discussions during the UNICEF Sustainable WASH Innovation Hub event in Copenhagen. As a panelist, I had the opportunity to join experts across private, public and development sectors to work out ways to accelerate the scale of innovation for vulnerable children and their families across the world. My key takeaways were: 1. We need to think about different, novel, creative ways to fund WaSH projects. 2. We need to make sure we are thinking of the WHOLE system, and how the WaSH system interacts with other systems (solid waste management, education, etc.) 3. We need to keep talking across the artificial silos - we need a diversity of thoughts and experiences! Looking forward to seeing how this collaborative and impactful event evolves. See some of my highlights below. #WASHInnovation
