Angie Bailey, director of our Broadband Infrastructure Office, spoke at the 2025 Rural Summit this week to discuss the state’s strategy to expand high-speed internet for all North Carolinians. Broadband access is crucial in today's increasingly digital world for work, education, telemedicine and connecting with others. We presented alongside Jeff Sural, Tracey A. Johnson, Erna Bright Jr. and Sara Nichols, who provided insights from the rural communities they serve. Thank you, NC Rural Center, for putting on this important event. #RuralSummit2025 #RuralWeek
