The NavalX Mid-Atlantic Tech Bridge (MATB) is led by three Hampton Roads Naval Commands including the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock Division Norfolk Detachment, NSWC Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity, and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Hampton Roads Detachment. The MATB is part of the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Department NavalX and works with 18 other Tech Bridges to connect warfighters with those who can provide agile technology solutions. MATB has an off-base office at the Assembly Norfolk (400 Granby Street, Norfolk VA) for collaborative events, technology demonstrations and industry engagements. Calling Small Businesses, Innovators, and Technology Entrepreneurs! The Department of the Navy (DON) 25.2/B topics are now in pre-release! This funding announcement contains 56 topics including 48 SBIR Phase I, 3 SBIR Direct to Phase II, and 5 STTR Phase I from Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), Office of Naval Research (ONR), and Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). The pre-release period allows direct public communication between small businesses and topic technical points of contact (TPOCs) to answer technical questions about the topics. This direct communication between small business concerns and TPOCs will be allowable until April 23, 2025. The DoD and DON SBIR 25.2 and STTR 25.B BAAs will officially open for proposal submissions on April 23, 2025, and close on May 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. ET.
