Today, our team in Jacksonville, FL very excitedly celebrated the long-awaited grand opening of its new facility, as well as recognized the ever-dedicated efforts its team members put in every day to provide safe, reliable service to their students and community. The new bus yard facility will serve students from Arlington to the Beaches. Team members, school district transportation staff, and local media attended the event. “Today was a day to have fun and recognize those who transport our most precious cargo safely, on time, and ready to learn. It was also a chance to recognize the people who keep the buses running. Our team’s dedication to their students and service excellence is truly remarkable, and Sandra Ellis, our driver in McKinney, TX is proof of that! Sandra was recently honored with an award by the McKinney Independent School District for providing exceptional, safe, and reliable service for the school’s high school girls soccer team, the Lionettes. Sandra has been driving for the team for 15+ amazing years and counting. How amazing! Thank you, Sandra, for your service to your students and community.

Another great win for our maintenance crew in Kingston, ON! With their industry-expertise and continued diligence, the team earned high marks and a 100% compliance score from the Ministry of Transportation during their annual provincial inspection. Led by Maintenance Supervisor Tony Reuvers, this is the seventh consecutive year that the team has knocked it out of the park. Congratulations and a job well done!

Safety in numbers! A big shout out to our San Bernardino, CA team for recognizing over twenty team members, who earned a jacket, pin, and certificate as part of our Safety Awards Program. Amazing work, team!

A big shoutout to Driver Steve, who was recognized by a parent for not only being awesome, but also for his kindness. “My kids rave about how nice (Steve) is and how he interacts with them; we truly appreciate him,” said a parent in Waukee, IA. “Thanks for all that you guys do!”

Although spring is not quite in the air yet in North Bay, ON, something else is – safety! Recently, ten drivers from our North Bay team received their safety jackets as a token of appreciation for their unparalleled dedication to safety. Way to go, team! This past St. Patrick’s Day, our Stratford, CT location took the opportunity to have a bit of fun with their team members. While no one was looking, a pair of ‘leprechauns’ boarded each bus to hide a few of their gold coins for our drivers to find. Once found, every driver had the opportunity to trade in their coins for some cool prizes. We’re definitely lucky to have such a fun crew in Stratford, CT!

Recently, the Triboard Student Transportation Consortium conducted a routine safety audit of our Kingston, ON location. With the dedicated support of Safety and Training Supervisor (STS) Peggy Garrah, we passed with an exemplary score and no noted deficiencies or recommendations! “In addition to demonstrating a comprehensive safety and training program, Peggy’s meticulous record-keeping helps to ensure Kingston’s compliance is always excellent,” said Area General Manager Heidi Conarroe. “Well done to the entire Kingston team, including Peggy Garrah (STS), Sheldon Hayes (ops), and Thomas Tasse (GM).”
