The result? A safer, scalable, and supply chain-resilient solution — a meaningful step forward for long-duration energy storage. Today, China controls over 90% of lithium-ion battery raw material production. XL’s technology avoids that dependency entirely, offering a path insulated from geopolitically sensitive materials, tariffs, and trade policy.
