Last week, the Garden of Dreams Foundation hosted its signature event – the annual Garden of Dreams Talent Show – at Radio City Music Hall! More than 150 young people from the tri-state area all facing unimaginable obstacles – such as severe illness, homelessness, and loss of a family member – had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live out their dreams on the Great Stage in front of an audience of thousands! During the event, Grammy and Emmy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated songwriter, composer and actor Christopher Jackson was honored with the 2025 GDF Hero Award for his incredible support for the Foundation since 2019.

The Garden of Dreams Foundation is proud to announce the “Dream Studio” – both a music studio, and a music composition and recording program – in collaboration with rock band O.A.R.’s Marc Roberge and Jon Lampley. Through a $750,000 grant as part of the Foundation’s Community Projects Program, Garden of Dreams will refurbish the theater space and build and furnish a custom music studio at Garden of Dreams partner organization SCAN-Harbor’s Clinton Community Center in Harlem, both of which will open later this year. As part of the “Dream Studio” program, Roberge and Lampley are currently working with over a dozen young people from SCAN-Harbor to write, produce and record an original song that will debut at the 2025 Garden of Dreams Talent Show on April 8 at Radio City Music Hall.
