To close out Women's History Month, our Office of DEI in partnership with The Women's Network (TWN), hosted a networking event where team members from across the company came together to connect with, learn from and be inspired by other women at Mr. Cooper. The event included a "speed networking" activity designed to connect our team members with some of our senior leaders including Chief Human Resources Officer Angela Greenfeather, Chief Experience Officer Kelly Ann Doherty, SVP Customer Experience Ramie Word, SVP Corporate Finance Lola Akibola and Chief Audit Officer Snezhina Panova-Bakri. It was a great event that gave our team members the opportunity to come together and learn from one another! #WeAreMrCooper #WomensHistoryMonth

In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, our Office of DEI hosted a Women in Tech panel featuring female tech leaders from across the company. The panel was moderated by AVP Customer Care/Solutions and President of The Women’s Network, Braunda Chaney who spoke with SVP Data Engineering, Prerna Kandhari, VP Information Security LaShauna Bryant and VP HRIS Kian Sanders, MBA, SPHR about their journeys to a career in tech. Our panelists discussed the importance of representation and inclusivity in STEM fields, the power of having a good mentor and how we can make STEM more accessible for women everywhere. It was an amazing panel full of inspiring anecdotes, advice and takeaways that will empower our team members for the months to come. #WeAreMrCooper #WomensHistoryMonth

Last week, Mr. Cooper’s Office of DEI hosted an amazing "Voice of Triumph" event at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum featuring Patricia Perez, Co-Founder of Friends of Juanita J. Craft Civil Rights House & Museum. Patricia spoke about her relationship with civil rights advocate, Juanita J. Craft, who worked tirelessly to bring an end to discriminatory practices and segregation in Dallas. It was an amazing event complete with both an in-person and virtual tour through the Dallas Holocaust & Human Rights Museum's exhibit "Pivot to America," which looks at America's journey for human and civil rights.
