This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to serve as the Student Sports Contact for the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Regional Tournament right here in State College! 🤸 We hosted four sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday where I handled host team communication with visiting media or SIDs, wrote and distributed releases regarding the tournament, created live social media content for Penn State Women's Gymnastics during their session, upon other duties. It was amazing learning first-hand SID and sports communications experience on the national stage! Thank you to my supervisors at Penn State Athletics Strategic Communications and Greg Kincaid for assisting and trusting me in this role 🦁
