  • Proud to announce Dynamic Pacing in Velocity™ Most brands still check their retail media pacing bi-weekly. In today's digital commerce landscape, that's not enough. Dynamic Pacing in Velocity™ features: ✔️ Updates forecasts daily using statistical modeling ✔️ Compares performance against your historical seasonality ✔️ Factors in upcoming retail events and market shifts ✔️ Alerts teams instantly when campaigns drift off course ✔️ Integrates directly with Slack/Teams for real-time updates ✔️ Reduces time spent on manual reporting ✔️ Delivers actionable insights, not just raw data The result? Smarter spending decisions based on your unique business patterns, not just generic pacing targets.

“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” In e-commerce, nothing is worse than getting surprised by a major miss in sales or spend. Yet most brands and agencies still rely on basic linear projections. At Momentum Commerce, we believe better data leads to better decisions. But more importantly, we believe that data has to be translated into insights before it can become actionable. While others use simple spreadsheets and bi-weekly check-ins, we've built a solution that brings statistical rigor to performance tracking. That's why we built Dynamic Pacing in Velocity™: ✔️ Updates forecasts daily using statistical modeling ✔️ Compares performance against your historical seasonality ✔️ Factors in upcoming retail events and market shifts ✔️ Alerts teams instantly when campaigns drift off course ✔️ Integrates directly with Slack/Teams for real-time updates ✔️ Reduces time spent on manual reporting ✔️ Delivers actionable insights, not just raw data The result? Our clients make smarter spending decisions based on their unique business patterns, not just generic pacing targets. Want to know how we do it? • Fascinating pattern in our latest Amazon data: We've discovered two distinct types of successful brands - "Sprinters" who concentrate 70%+ of revenue into 2-3 major shopping events, and "Marathoners" who maintain steady sales velocity year-round. Both strategies can win, but they require completely different playbooks. Want to know which type your brand is? #ecommerce #amazon #retailmedia

SharkNinja's 2024 Amazon playbook was masterful. They were a “Strategic Sprinter”: great at winning when it mattered most and speeding past the “Marathon Brands” that missed out on sales. The data tells Shark’s “Sprint” success story: +11.9% revenue growth AND +1.9% market share gain… All In a category that declined -2% overall! Here's what's interesting... While most brands run the "marathon" (always-on, steady-state), the data shows 40-50% of annual revenue happens in concentrated sprints. The winning playbook in 2024 was: 1. Explosive acceleration 7-10 days pre-event 2. Multi-channel burst (PR/social) to drive branded search 3. Premium product focus during peak velocity But here's the real insight for 2025: The best sprinters aren't just running peak events anymore. They're constantly identifying and dominating the "mini-races" others miss. Momentum Commerce just published our deep dive into this strategy shift. Run over to our site for the full analysis. #ecommerce #retailmedia #amazonads #strategy

  • "Shea said what made the announcement most noteworthy was the fact that if brand owners did not manually correct non-compliant titles before January 21st, Amazon would automatically update them using AI-generated titles. 'For anyone who doubts Amazon's seriousness in AI - They are confident enough in their AI models to deploy them on ~$150B of commerce,' he said." Thanks to EcommerceBytes for the shoutout! Have you updated your product titles yet? https://lnkd.in/dzQRyzYF

  • Heads up for brands to fix their product titles before new requirements go into effect on January 25th 👀

22% of products on Amazon are not compliant with the new product titling requirements that Amazon just announced. 🤯 As expected, Amazon announced the following new product title requirements on January 1st to go into effect on January 25th. 1. <200 Characters 2. No Special Characters 3. Cannot use the same word more than twice New research from Momentum Commerce indicates that 22% of all products on the platform are not compliant with these requirements. The biggest reason? Yup - you guessed it. Good ol' keyword stuffing. 1 in 5 product titles has the same word more than twice. The distribution of sales across the compliant and non-compliant products is about the same. As such, 22% of Amazon Sales currently come from products that are not compliant. What's truly newsworthy here - is that if Brand Owners don't manually correct non-compliant titles before January 21st, Amazon will automatically update them using AI-generated titles. For anyone who doubts Amazon's seriousness in AI - They are confident enough in their AI models to deploy them on ~$150B of commerce. Wild stuff. 🤯 Let me know in the comments if you want more detail on specific categories, brands or recommendations on how to set yourself up for success here. Amazing research from Andrew Waber here.
