What began as a vision a couple years ago with Crawford Hoying and Shaner Hotels is now Hotel Celare, celebrating its grand opening last night. Looking back at each site visit, it's remarkable how quickly those construction days have become memories.

Creating memorable places that connect people
About us
For us, design is about more than creating spaces—it's about building connections between people. From our home in Columbus, Ohio, Meyers+Associates creates environments that bring people together, fostering relationships that extend far beyond the drawing board. Our integrated architecture and interior design teams work hand in hand to shape places where communities come alive. These relationships are at the heart of who we are. We value real connections—with our clients, our team, and our community. Founded by Christopher Meyers, FAIA, and strengthened by principals Pete Scott, Karen Dwyer, and Shawn Conyers, we've built a place where mentorship thrives and innovation grows through collaboration. Our specialized leadership team brings technical excellence to every project while never losing sight of what matters most: using thoughtful design to transform not just spaces, but the connections within them.

We take a lot of pride in supporting early professionals, pairing them with committed mentors, and introducing them to different markets in all phases. And for the third straight year, we’ve earned the Early Professional Friendly Firm Plus+ designation from AIA Ohio, reflecting our commitment to our practice and industry. "Coming from a program focused heavily on design theory, [my] internship provided hands-on exposure to real-world project workflows, delegation, teamwork, client interactions, and technical knowledge," reflects former architecture intern, Madalyn Phillips. “I feel more confident in my understanding of architecture.”

Designing the world's largest Ronald McDonald House at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio meant creating a space that feels like home, not a hospital or hotel, while still incorporating our expertise in hospitality design. Our team integrated two three-story buildings into the existing complex, balancing functionality with warmth. The interior spaces showcase our approach to healing environments - custom art, expansive windows, and vibrant colors infuse character while themed areas provide comfort during difficult times. The expanded facility now serves 10,700+ families annually, with thoughtful amenities that bring hospitality standards to a deeply personal mission.

For over a century, International Women’s Day has been a call to action for gender equality. Progress has been made, but the work isn’t done. At Meyers+Associates, we’ve built a culture that actively supports women—through parental benefits, a safe and supportive work environment, and leadership opportunities that help shape the future of our industry. Because when women thrive, teams thrive. And that leads to better, more inclusive design. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025

Great workspaces maximize connection, collaboration, and efficiency. At WOSU's headquarters, the newsroom is designed to buzz with collaborative energy, while quieter zones are created for focused broadcasting work. The interior design of the spaces integrates organizational behavior with environmental design, making transitions between working and gathering feel seamless. Construction sites aren’t just about steel and concrete—they’re about the people who bring projects to life. This Women in Construction Week, we’re proud to celebrate the women on our team who navigate complex challenges, coordinate across disciplines, and shape the built environment with expertise and dedication. With over 50% of our staff identifying as women—across architecture, interior design, and administration—we know that stronger teams come from diverse voices. #womeninconstructionweek2025

Milestone moment at our 100 N High Street project with Edwards Companies! Our construction partners at Ruscilli Construction hoisted the custom pool insert to the top of the 15-story downtown infill building. The precision operation required extensive planning as the pool was fabricated off-site in three distinct sections, transported, and then lifted to the rooftop by the tower crane. After the lift, these massive components will be seamed together, sealed, and plumbed to transform them into a stunning rooftop pool, completing the vision for the amenity space. 🌟 Michael Burmeister, Architect
