The company raised approximately $170 million through an IPO in August 2018. The Sponsor of MFAC is comprised of its board and management, which is a renowned group of investors and operators who have built and grown several multi-billion dollar companies. The Sponsor and Board includes Jay Sidhu, Chairman and CEO of Customers Bank and Bank Mobile and formerly Chairman and CEO of Sovereign Bank; Chad Hurley, Co Founder and former CEO of YouTube and early team member at PayPal; Raj Date, Managing Director of Fenway Summer Ventures and former Deputy Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau; Eric Frank, CEO of Silver Lake backed Lightbox, LLC and former President at Thomson Reuters; Bhanu Choudhrie, a global private equity investor; and Kuldeep Malkani a former portfolio manager at Seneca Capital. Day to day operations of MFAC are managed by the CEO and Director Sam Sidhu, who is the founder of Megalith Capital Management; the President, A.J. Dunklau, an operating executive formerly at AGDATA, LP; and Phil Watkins, a Principal and Investment Committee Member at Megalith Capital, who serves as CFO.
