MedGlobal's Nursing Program Consultant Alicia Bean speaks to Fedir, a volunteer in Ukraine, about how MedGlobal's healthcare training altered his career path, and why his work rehabilitating patients and educating healthcare staff is so important to him. MedGlobal has made it possible for dozens of Ukrainian healthcare workers to take part in a variety of virtual and hands-on trainings, allowing them to earn certifications and learn the skills necessary to save lives in high-pressure situations. Like Fedir, those trainees often become trainers, who help build the capacity of Ukraine’s healthcare system.
