McLaren Central Michigan is seeking individuals pursuing a degree in direct medical care to apply for their 2025 volunteer scholarship. The McLaren Central Michigan Volunteer Scholarship, funded by The Louise A. Williams Trust, is once again being made available to students currently admitted to, or enrolled in, a direct medical care education program at a Michigan college or university. Special preference will be given to residents of Isabella County, or individuals with a strong connection to Isabella County, and/or McLaren Central Michigan. McLaren Central Michigan welcomes the first baby born in 2025! Harlow Evelyn Retzloff, born on January 2, was the first baby born at McLaren Central Michigan this year! Her parents, Shaudeax Wisniewski and Travis Retzloff, who are residents of Edmore, were anticipating her arrival around Christmas as her due date was December 24. Harlow weighed eight pounds and ten ounces and measured twenty-one inches long. Interestingly, her initials spell H.E.R. Mom and Dad wanted a unique name for their little girl, but nothing too extravagant. Welcome, Harlow!
