Through our partnership with the County, we are growing the number of EV drivers on our roads, eliminating fossil fuels, and taking local climate action. Thanks to collaborations like this, we have: ✅ Supported more than 45 projects with over $1 million in rebates for EV charging in Contra Costa County ✅ Made EVs more accessible - over 850 income-qualified drivers have received $2.7 million in rebates across our service area! We wrapped up March by celebrating Bay Area youth at our inaugural Because of Youth festival! 🌱✨ Youth and young adults from Marin, Solano, Napa, and Contra Costa counties joined us to explore climate justice pathways in their communities. The day was filled with inspiring speakers, interactive games, and hands-on activities that sparked meaningful conversations about sustainable leadership. At MCE, we're dedicated to paving the way for young leaders to find accessible ways to engage in sustainable leadership.
