  • Viaggio al centro della tavola | Marmomac 2024 Curated by Raffaello Galiotto The centrepiece has always served both a functional and symbolic role. When interpreted through the lens of natural stone, it takes on a new level of design relevance. Presented at Marmomac 2024, the "Viaggio al centro della tavola" exhibition explored this concept through a series of works made from marble and various stone types, shaped using advanced CNC technologies. Each table combines a flat slab surface with a finely carved centrepiece, creating a dialogue between material, function, and innovation. Eight installations demonstrate the expressive potential of natural stone, highlighting its structure, colour, and precision. • At Marmomac 2024, Prem Marbles presented a selection of natural stone surfaces designed for contemporary interior design and architecture. Located in Hall 1, curated by Elle Decor Italia, the booth offered an exhibition path focused on natural stone's expressive and functional potential, showcasing a range of finishes and processes that highlight its technical properties and chromatic variety. The aim was to provide architects, design studios, and industry professionals with versatile and concrete solutions where the material is valued not only for its aesthetic qualities but also for its alignment with the functional and design requirements of the built environment. Natural stone remains at the core of Prem Marbles' proposal: an authentic and durable material capable of interacting with different design languages while maintaining a strong connection to its geological and cultural origins. 📅 Marmomac 2025 | September 23–26

  • At Marmomac 2024, Platform Architecture & Design renewed its collaboration with the event through the Stone Lovers project, a talk featuring a selection of international architects and product designers. In the video, the professionals answered a simple yet fundamental question: "What is the main idea behind the concept of your project?" Their reflections provided a clear overview of the relationship between material and design, the role of natural stone as an element of experimentation, and their views on contemporary design. The responses from these architects and designers, with different approaches and backgrounds, helped highlight the connection between design, innovation, and the use of natural stone, reinforcing the project's goals: promoting international dialogue and advancing a design culture focused on natural stone. • Bagnara Marmi Due's exhibition at Marmomac 2024 beautifully told the story of natural stone through a captivating fusion of sound and water's movement. Within hall 1, curated by Elle Decor Italia, the native marble from the Asiago Plateau took centre stage, showcasing a new sensitivity that combines nature and technology. A large 3x2 meter solid marble slab, approximately 30 cm thick, was sculpted and hand-polished to create an illusory effect: water appears to flow between the rocks of a mountain stream, bringing to life a scene that captivates with its realism and harmony. In this installation, the Marine Waterproof Speakers and the stainless steel subwoofer seamlessly integrate with the rock, creating a balance between the material's purity and the technology's power. The final effect is visual and sensory: an experience that engages sound and movement, taking the natural stone to an even deeper level of interaction. A project curated by Riccardo Gatti for Bagnara Due enhances natural stone and explores its expressive potential in a perfect synergy of art, design, and nature. 📅 Marmomac 2025: September 23, 26
