Last week, our CEO & Co-Founder Matt Golden and Product Owner Michael Wolfman had the pleasure of attending the SPADD Conference—a powerful gathering of changemakers committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. From conversations with self-advocates, clinical case managers, MCOs, and fellow tech providers, we left feeling energized by the shared mission: to foster greater independence, dignity, and quality of life for the neurodiverse community. Check out some highlights, including a great moment with Yuli Fernandez, Success Coach with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities! Thanks to SPADD for hosting such an impactful event. We’re proud to be part of this incredible community. #SPADD2025 #Neurodiversity #DisabilityServices #TechForGood #DevelopmentalDisabilities #IDD #MapHabit #PersonCenteredCare #BehavioralHealth

The conversation around behavioral health is expanding, and for the first time, neurodiversity is taking center stage. At the Behavioral Health Tech Conference, leaders emphasized the urgent need to rethink care models for neurodivergent individuals, addressing gaps in accessibility, workplace inclusion, and integrated support systems. This shift aligns with MapHabit’s mission to provide cognitive support through visual step-by-step guides, empowering individuals of all ages to navigate daily life with greater independence. By leveraging assistive technology, we help bridge the gap between traditional care models and the real needs of neurodiverse communities. April 16 is National Healthcare Decisions Day, a reminder that planning for the future is practical as well as empowering. Advance care planning means communicating your values, preferences, and healthcare goals with your loved ones and providers. Consider: 🔹Who will speak for you if you can’t? 🔹 What kind of medical care do you want (or not want)? 🔹 Have you documented your wishes? Making these decisions now ensures your voice is heard when it matters most. #NHDD #AdvanceCarePlanning #YourWishesYourWay

Ever April, National Minority Health Month is a reminder that racial and ethnic disparities in healthcare persist. However, awareness, education, and innovation can drive change. At MapHabit, we are committed to making cognitive support accessible for all. Through our research—like our study on African American family caregivers and our 2024 NIA Diversity Supplement grant—we are working to reduce care burdens and improve quality of life in historically underserved communities. As our CEO Matt Golden puts it: "Health equity is a huge concern in our country, and MapHabit is proud to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in both our mission statement and every aspect of our operations." Everyone deserves the tools to live independently and thrive. Let’s continue pushing for a future where equitable healthcare is the standard. #MinorityHealthMonth #SourceForBetterHealth #HealthEquity #MapHabit
