🎓💼 That’s a wrap on the 2025 Education & Workforce Summit! This past Tuesday, more than 90 educators, employers, and community leaders came together with a shared purpose: to explore new ways of preparing our region’s talent for the future of work. Co-sponsored by Lynchburg Regional SHRM, Inc. and hosted by Liberty University, the Summit provided a collaborative space to align education and workforce strategies — fostering meaningful dialogue, fresh insights, and actionable solutions. 🙌 A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Patience Fairbrother, VP of Talent Attraction at Development Counsellors International, who offered a dynamic perspective on workforce trends, talent mobility, and what drives career decisions in today’s market — with specific implications for the Lynchburg Region. 🎤 We’re also incredibly grateful to our inspiring speakers: Traci Blido, Brian M. Kelley, Ph.D., Kimberly Soerensen, Martha Caraballo, Nathan Roberts, Jason C., and the outstanding Leadership Lynchburg 47 Workforce Team — each of whom highlighted the power of cross-sector collaboration in shaping a more resilient, better-prepared workforce. The path forward is clear: when educators and employers work in partnership, we unlock real opportunity for students, job seekers, and the entire region. 🌟 #WorkforceDevelopment #EducationAndIndustry #LynchburgRegion #TalentPipeline #WorkforceSummit #LeadershipLynchburg
