We sold raffle tickets for the chance to “pie” our designated leprechauns, and all proceeds from the event were donated to The Leprechaun Foundation. Leading the Charge in High Energy Physics! Luxium Solutions recently met with project teams at CERN who are pioneering the next generation of High Energy Physics (HEP) detectors. During the meeting, we showcased our latest scintillating and wavelength-shifting fiber products, including the newly released BCF-XL fibers, which offer industry-leading attenuation lengths. These advanced fibers are ideal for a range of applications within the HEP sector, such as calorimeters used in particle accelerators. Thanks to the superior attenuation length of over 4 meters in our BCF-XL fibers, researchers now have the tools they need to meet the ever-growing performance demands of their detector systems. Our Sapphire-based armored windows have been protecting warfighters in ground vehicles for over a decade. At our plant in Milford, NH; we grow large sheets of Sapphire, the hardest transparent material, second only to diamond. These sheets provide an extremely hard and abrasion-resistant strike face that ‘breaks’ the projectile upon impact.
