A huge thank you to Hackensack Meridian Health - Outreach Coordinator Gina Cocuzza and registered dietitians Carolyn Cashion and Mary Beth Ostrowski - for bringing the Quick Bites and Healthy Delights cooking demonstration to our Lunch Break community! 🍽️ 💙 This collaboration provided our guests with valuable, practical tips on preparing nutritious, budget-friendly meals, proving that healthy eating is possible for everyone, no matter their circumstances. At Lunch Break, we believe everyone deserves self-care and access to resources that support a fulfilling life. On Friday, March 21st, we celebrated 25 incredible years of The Source at Red Bank Regional High School and recieved the Community Partner Award at their gala. Since 2021, our partnership with The Source through the Alliance for Success Youth Program has been instrumental in providing students with academic support, hands-on college prep and mentorship. Renee Lehrman, Youth Program Coordinator, proudly accepted this award on behalf of the Lunch Break team! For 25 years, The Source has been a lifeline for students and families, offering free mental health services, academic support and breaking the stigma around mental health. Their work is shaping stronger, more resilient communities and we are so grateful to be part of their mission. A special thank you to Suzanne Keller for her leadership and vision. And congratulations to our fellow honorees: 💙 Attitudes In Reverse® (Everybody Loves Kenny Project, Inc.) 💙 Project Write Now 💙 RBR Buc Backers 💙 Risa Clay 💙 The Gregory H. Montgomery Jr. Foundation We walked away from this event re-energized, hopeful and grateful, knowing we are surrounded by a community that truly shows up for our students. #LunchBreak #TheSourceRBR #25YearsStrong #CommunitySupport #CommunityPartner
