Sparks Equipment & Facilities Manager Thomas Archie has been named the 2024 WNBA Equipment Manager of the Year, an award inspired by him that will henceforth honor the league’s top equipment manager each year at the NCAA Women's Tournament Final Four in Tampa this past weekend, he was presented with a special basketball trophy designed by Victor Solomon. Thomas, who has been with the Sparks since 1998 and is the longest-tenured employee in the organization, is the first league equipment manager to win the award. A man of few words but thunderous actions, the Sparks veteran is known for his selflessness, consistently going above and beyond in his support of players, staffers and others around the league. Congratulations, Thomas!
