If borrowers want to build credit, and lenders want creditworthy borrowers, why do credit builder products often fall short? 🤔 One major issue: seeing the credit builder as a standalone product. If borrowers are just paying for a credit boost, then providers get stuck trying to boost credit scores, without changing credit behavior. Providers should see a credit builder product as one part of a larger credit lifecycle journey—a series of interconnected and complementary products, each graduating into the next. Instead of building up a score to help borrowers get their next loan from another provider, lenders help them build genuine creditworthiness—and then see the benefits of a healthy, long-term customer relationship. In our latest blog post, we’re diving into the details of graduated credit builder programs and credit lifecycle strategies: https://lnkd.in/gRteX9gw
