ProSearch has been Maine's go-to recruiting and staffing firm for over 30 years. We recognize that we owe much of our success to the candidates we work with daily. In 1994, we began our mission to connect great people with meaningful work opportunities, and more than thirty years later, we're still doing it. #NewEngland #Maine #Testimonial #ProSearch #LetsGetToWork #Maine #LiveandWorkinMaine #NewHampshire #Jobseeking #JobSeekers #Jobadvice #JobSearch #Hiring #LookingForWork #AvailableForWork #Temp #Contract #IT #Jobs

We aren’t the only ones shouting this from the rooftops: so many great things are happening in our state!
Do you love where you live and work? Millions of people who relocated during the COVID-19 pandemic realized they didn’t—which is why, when companies went remote, so many chose to move somewhere that better matched their vision of a great life. Between 2019 and 2023, the state of Maine estimates that over 80,000 people relocated to Maine; yet only about one-third are working for Maine-based employers. The secret is out: Maine is an incredible place to live! With a thriving food scene, a walkable downtown, and easy access to the ocean and mountains, Portland has been my dream place to build a life. Whether it's a sunset surf, a waterfront coffee meeting, or simply being able to pop over to the ski slopes after a good snow, Maine offers a quality of life that’s hard to beat. And I know what you’re thinking… with return-to-office mandates not everyone can choose where they live. Startup founders, however, have the luxury to choose where they build and grow their companies! That’s why The Roux Institute at Northeastern University's Founder Residency is dedicated to helping early-stage tech startups thrive here in Maine; whether they’re already based here or choosing to build their companies in a new place they will love. We provide founders with free office space, curated educational programming, 1:1 mentorship, pro-bono design, business, and legal services, over $300K in benefits and perks, and access to Northeastern's global network. If you're thinking about where to launch your next venture, you might just find that Maine is the perfect place to do it. Let's connect! Our applications are open until April 30th and you can learn more, book office hours, rsvp to an info session, and apply through our website: https://lnkd.in/gVe6PFJ6 #Startups #Entrepreneurship #LifeInMaine

BIOME (Bioscience Association of Maine) is so proud to be a partner on this project sharing life science education across the state.
Hard to believe it's been 365 days, 12 months, 26 schools, 100 teachers, more than 5,000 students and 13 industry partners! Happy anniversary to Maine's Mobile Biolab. This laboratory classroom may be one of Maine’s most recognizable rolling landmarks, second only to L.L. Bean's Boot trucks (we love you, L.L. Bean, but you don't have life science lessons onboard). The Biolab had a stellar first year, launching her journey first at the State House in Augusta, with a star-studded legislative audience and then at Fort Kent Elementary in Aroostook County, where students vied to be “first on the bus.” Since then she's traversed 12 of our 16 counties, bringing STEM curricula to middle-school students and communities. Where will Biolab go next? Go here to find out: https://loom.ly/gZY_BO0\ Big thanks to our partners, who make Biolab’s continuing journey possible.
