Linus Health’s iPad-based brain health platform — a suite of digital cognitive assessment, clinical decision support, and intervention solutions — helps providers detect and address cognitive issues in a whole new way. Augmenting rich clinical expertise with cutting-edge AI, the platform’s cornerstone Core Cognitive Evaluation™ brings visibility into previously imperceptible signs of cognitive impairment, helping providers identify issues early and efficiently. Foundational to this evaluation is the next generation of Linus Health’s DCTclock™ – a digital upgrade to the long-trusted clock drawing test – named one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2021. With technology featured in over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific publications – including Neurology and the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease – our proprietary, validated solutions outperform long-established cognitive assessments such as the MMSE in sensitivity and overall accuracy, helping usher in a new era of early detection.

We had a great week in Vienna at AD/PD 2025! A huge thank you to everyone we met with—partners, peers, and new connections. It was energizing to share our progress, hear your insights, and explore new opportunities together. Recruiting participants for Alzheimer’s clinical trials remains a major challenge—but we’re making meaningful strides to help change that. There was strong interest in our 2-step recruitment model—combining remote pre-screening tools with in-clinic assessments—as well as in our innovative ePSOM solution to establish meaningful treatment benefits. We also had great conversations about our advancements over the past year—especially around speech capabilities, where we’re continuing to strengthen study outcome measures. #ADPD2025 #AlzheimersResearch #ClinicalTrials #DigitalHealth #EarlyDetection #LinusHealth

Cognitive decline remains one of the most feared and costly health challenges for patients and families. But if we can detect mild cognitive impairment (MCI) early, there are proven steps we can take to slow or even prevent its progression. The challenge has been finding a way to integrate that kind of monitoring into everyday primary care in a way that is both simple and effective. That’s where Linus Health comes in. Linus CEO David Bates, Chief Strategy Officer and primary care physician John Showalter, MD, and Chief Medical Officer and neurologist Alvaro Pascual-Leone, MD, recently gave The Health Care Blog’s Matthew Holt an in-depth demo of the Linus Health platform. They discussed the current state of neurology diagnosis, how our technology fits into the clinical workflow, and what the future holds for proactive brain health. What a fantastic time at CMGF 2025! The event sparked powerful conversations around ethical e-health, collaborative care for complex patients, and the future of cognitive care. One big takeaway? GPs are actively seeking digital tools that support early detection of mild cognitive impairment—and Linus really struck a chord. We're thrilled to see the excitement around how Linus can support evolving care models. The future is bright! I #CMGF2025 #BrainHealth #DigitalHealth #PrimaryCare #HealthcareInnovation

New global projections indicate that Alzheimer’s and dementia cases are expected to double over the next 30 years—to 14 million in the U.S. and 152 million globally. How are AI-based digital cognitive assessments poised to change the way we detect and address these conditions? Michael McNutt, CMP from WEDI ’s The Collective Voice of Health IT Podcast chats with Linus Health Chief Strategy Officer Dr. John Showalter about the current state of early detection and management of cognitive disorders, barriers in traditional assessments and interoperability and how AI and innovation are enhancing assessments and improving patient outcomes. More than 9 in 10 cases of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) go undetected, often because symptoms are subtle and routine checkups don’t always include cognitive assessments. Yet, detecting MCI early is crucial—it allows for interventions that may help slow progression and improve quality of life. Unlike widely available remote cognitive screeners, Anywhere for Health Systems™ delivers a clinically validated series of assessments that, along with specific insights to accurately identify early cognitive changes from home, ensures more people have access to the screenings they need without additional strain on busy clinics. https://lnkd.in/gidEA357 I #MCI #EarlyDetection #BrainHealthAwareness

AI has been at the center of discussions across the healthcare industry this year, especially at major trade shows where its potential to reshape care delivery continues to spark interest. At the RISE conference, Linus Health Chief Growth Officer Curt J. Thornton highlighted one promising application: using AI-powered digital cognitive assessments to detect signs of cognitive decline years earlier than traditional methods. He noted that cognitive decline and dementia are among the biggest drivers of healthcare costs. With a growing shortage of neurologists and primary care providers, innovations like these offer much-needed hope.
