Spring and summer tourism season is right around the corner, bringing countless visitors to the beloved Split Rock Lighthouse along Minnesota's North Shore. LHB is proud to support the Minnesota Historical Society's ongoing preservation of this popular destination and National Historic Landmark. Known for its striking architecture and dramatic cliffs, it's one of the most photographed lighthouses in the United States. LHB is currently working to enhance the integrity of the lighthouse’s building envelope by improving moisture management within its walls, leveraging insights from our ventilation work that began in 2015. Exciting progress happening at our Prairie Pointe project in Shakopee! Let's hear from Senior Project Engineer, Jaydon Coulter about the current stage of the project! "Prairie Pointe Apartments is a 3-Story, 42-unit apartment complex located on Sarazin Street in Shakopee. This will offer affordable housing options for this area of Shakopee through the MHFA. Currently, we have all of our foundations and footings poured, waterproofed and back-filled. Underground plumbing and electrical work is in full swing this week with the plan to pour our building slab next week.
