For the last 2 days, myself and Rita Barata, were in Ruhrlandklinic - Department of Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Endoscopy, in Essen, for the CLINICAL IMMERSION VATS-SEGMENTEKTOMIE course, sponsored by Lexington. Segmentectomies are now part of most thoracic surgeons’ daily procedures but still impose complex decisions in patient selection, tumor localization, complex peripheral dissection and intersegmental plane identification. We’re very grateful to Prof. Dr. Servet Bölükbas, MHBA, FETCS, FEBTS and all his team in Ruhrlanklinik for the knowledge sharing, great support and hospitality and outstanding live surgical performances.
