Yesterday marked the 11th Annual Carie Cares Burlington County Correctional Officers Basketball Game with the Legacy ARS kids—and what a day it was! 🏀 We kicked things off in the indoor gym due to weather, but eventually made it outside for more fun and friendly competition. The officers brought t-shirts for every kid and treated everyone to a pizza lunch with snacks and drinks (and when the sun’s out, they’re known to fire up the grill!). After the game, one of the officers even led an impromptu push-up session—and some of the kids joined right in 💪 This event, led by Carie Cares—Carie Lynne Mccay’s ministry—is all about giving back and showing the kids that officers are just regular people who care and love to have fun, too. At Legacy Treatment Services, we proudly support autistic youth through our Lester Place residential program — a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for children in need of specialized care. 🏡 Lester Place provides around-the-clock support for 25 youth annually, offering individualized treatment, education, life skills development, and sensory-sensitive recreation — empowering every child to thrive. ✨ Together, we celebrate neurodiversity and advocate for inclusion, understanding, and opportunity for all.

Participants gained valuable knowledge, resources, and strategies to support survivors and promote safety in our communities. Leadership Announcement at Legacy Treatment Services! We are excited to announce that Tinesha Banks DrPH, MPH, has been appointed as our new President! With her vast experience in nonprofit leadership and program development, Dr. Banks is ready to lead Legacy into its next chapter of growth and innovation. We also want to thank Christine Kirkbride MSW, LCSW for her outstanding leadership as Interim CEO over the past year. Christine is grateful for the opportunity and is now excited to transition into her new role as Chief Program Officer, where she can focus on her passion for program operations and continue driving the growth of our services.
