Last week, we kicked off our IK 25 Spring Class, and we had the best time welcoming them into the LK Family! They spent their afternoon learning about Knoxville's history and each other and spent the evening Gathering with LK & IK Alumni. We're so excited for the next 5 weeks and can't wait to get to know IK 25 Spring better. - This session and reception wouldn't be possible without our Session Sponsor Coulter & Justus, P. C. and our Program Sponsor Covenant Health. We are so grateful for these community partners!

CONGRATULATIONS to our 2025 LK Scholars who have been named Torchbearers! 🎉🔥 This is the highest honor a University of Tennessee student can receive, and we are incredibly proud of all of their accomplishments and to call them members of the LK Family. - The Leadership Knoxville Scholars program has a history of attracting UT's best and brightest students. This group of four students adds to the long list of LK Scholar Torchbearers, making the total 30 recipients since the program's beginning in 2013.

LK 2025 spent the first part of their week in Nashville! Class members spent time with State and Local Leaders, Legislative Members, lobbyists, and political consultants. They also had the opportunity to hear from TBI and TDOT, and learn about telling their stories from Michael McRay and conflict management from Lipscomb Professor Steve Joiner. And, of course, they spent a lot of time Gathering with each other, too! - We are so grateful for our speakers and hosts who made this session great. This trip wouldn't have been possible without our Transportation and Lodging Sponsor Navarro Research and Engineering, our session sponsor Pinnacle Financial Partners, and our program sponsor Tennessee Valley Authority.
