Lead - Fabric COE, Associate Director - BI & Visualization at LatentView Analytics

Had an excellent time at the #FabCon2025, held between Mar 31 and Apr 02 in Las Vegas. Connecting with the larger core Fabric development team, peers, and partners was amazing. And shaking hands with Arun Ulag was definitely the highlight for me. Strongly believe we are going to witness the wave of Fabric migration in the next 6 months, considering the following key items that are on the cards: - Fabric now supports all workloads using the Iceberg table format, enabling seamless access to Snowflake data without duplication or manual transfers. - FabCon 2025 introduced the ability to train Copilot using enterprise-specific data, enabling tailored AI-driven insights directly within Power BI. - Power BI now supports native data ingestion via Fabric, allowing users to update values directly from dashboards without external dependencies, eliminating the need for Power Apps and Power Automation. - OneLake is going to be an essential backend for the best functioning of Power BI. OneLake doesn't just bring in the top-notch performance, but also brings in the most effective use of Co-pilot, as the entire data will be managed under one storage, enabling better and more efficient data-connected decisions. At LatentView Analytics, we are implementing Fabric across multiple key projects for some of the renowned logos. We are excited to see these updates and eager to roll them out soon! The way I see it, things are only going to expand exponentially from here on, in the adoption of Fabric. #LatentView #MicrosoftFabric #FabCon #PowerBI #CoPilot
