  • KSE proudly sponsored and participated at the DBIA Liberty Region Fall Conference 2023 in Newark, NJ on September 26 and 27. Congratulations to George Assis of KSE and and RCC's Michael Bacsik, for making a great presentation on the successful Long Island Rail Road design-build project for Cherry Valley Ave Bridge replacement in Garden City, NY. KSE+RCC team successfully delivered three design-build projects for the MTA, Long Island Railroad. The Cherry Valley Bridge project already received the 2023 project of the year award from ASCE Long Island Branch, and has been nominated for Engineering Excellence Awards from ACEC-NY and ACEC-NJ.   • 🎉 Chinese New Year/Welcome Yuyang Lin, PE, PTOE 🎉 In celebration of the Chinese New Year, the team at KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) CT enjoyed a delightful luncheon at a local Chinese eatery. This gathering was a wonderful opportunity for our diverse team—comprising of individuals from various cultural backgrounds—to come together, learn from one another, and strengthen the sense of unity that defines our workplace. We also took this occasion to welcome Yuyang Lin, PE, PTOE, as our new Lead Civil-Traffic/Roadway Engineer. With over 25 years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering, civil and roadway engineering, Yuyang brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team and is an invaluable addition to KSE. This event marked COST’s 50th anniversary and featured discussions with state and local officials on legislative issues impacting Connecticut’s small towns. 👋 Many thanks to all who stopped by our booth. It was a pleasure to connect with existing clients and partners, as well as to establish new relationships within the community.
