We are excited to share that Rachel Rossi has been named President of Alliance for Justice. Rossi’s career exemplifies fearless advocacy and progressive leadership. She served in the Biden administration’s Justice Department — most recently as the Director of the Office for Access to Justice. In that role, she developed and led innovative strategies to ensure justice reached the most vulnerable populations. Before that, she was Deputy Associate Attorney General, under Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, where she also served as the Department’s first Anti-Hate Coordinator. We are partnering with the Firebird Community Arts on the search for an Executive Director. Working with and leading a team of 5 full time staff, 8 part time members, and 3 independent contractors, the ED will provide leadership and oversight of strategy, programs, fundraising, community engagement, finances, operation, advocacy and human resources. Shifting to a single Executive Director leadership, the ED will be responsible for building and modeling excellent organizational culture, providing inspirational leadership to the staff, teaching artists and program participants and building on a well-established working relationship with the board of directors.
