April is Stress Awareness Month—an important reminder that behind every successful project are people who deserve support, balance, and recognition. At Kinship, we understand the demands of the door, frame, and hardware industry. Tight deadlines, complex specifications, and fast-paced project schedules can create real pressure. That’s why we make employee health and well-being a priority year-round by emphasizing and promoting strong work/life balances. Healthy teams build strong structures. This month, and every month, we’re proud to stand behind the people who keep our projects moving forward. #StressAwarenessMonth #Health

At Kinship we believe relationships are everything.
About us
At Kinship, we believe that relationships are everything. Kinship Group was formed when two longstanding commercial door companies—one manufacturer, one supplier—came together under a singular purpose: to build safe environments where relationships thrive. From the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West regions, we provide a complete solution for purchasing, installing, and servicing commercial doors and hardware that puts relationships at the center, every step of the way. Whether we’re working with employees, clients, or end users, our goal is to provide educational resources and full-spectrum service and support. But the most important thing we have to offer isn’t what we do, it’s how we do it and who we do it for. Jobs start and finish, companies change and grow, contracts are won and lost—but relationships are everything.

Today, on World Health Day, we recognize the critical role our industry plays in supporting healthy and safe environments. At every phase—design, detailing, and installation—our work contributes to environments where health and well-being are protected. We stand with healthcare professionals by ensuring that the spaces they work in are safe, secure, and built to last. A healthier world begins with thoughtful design and reliable infrastructure—and we're proud to be a part of that foundation. #WorldHealthDay

It's National Poetry Month! ✏️ Here's a little rhyme to celebrate - because even door pros can wax poetic 😂 #NationalPoetryMonth #DoorsandHardware

April Fool's Day Reminder: Double-check the hardware schedule... just in case someone specified a panic device on an in-swinging door again. 😂 At Kinship, we take every project seriously—but we also know a little humor goes a long way. Today, we tip our hard hats to the project managers, detailers, and estimators who catch the 'jokes' before they make it to the jobsite! #AprilFoolsDay #EmployeeAppreciation

Employee Spotlight: Kai Engevik Kai got his start in the door and hardware industry nearly 2 ½ years ago when he joined Kinship! In that time, he has held the titles of Warehouse Support, Wood Shop Support, and currently holds the title of Account Manager. Kai’s ability to learn and adapt quickly in an ever-changing industry has been a tremendous asset to the Kinship team! In his free time, Kai is an Eagle Scout, which might explain his love for being outdoors. He also loves fishing and camping with his wife and daughter in their travel trailer. When asked what he likes most about working with Kinship, Kai responded, “How close everyone works together and treats people like family. We stand behind our core values and hold true to it.” We couldn’t agree more Kai! And thank you for being a part of the Kinship family! #employeespotlight #employeerecognition #gratitude
