Recently, Program Managers Eryn and Taylor from our Office of Registered Apprenticeship had the privilege of speaking with the Shawnee Mission and De Soto school districts, as well as the Shawnee Chamber, where they shared their knowledge on the importance of youth apprenticeship programs in Kansas. Their presentation highlighted the connections between local school districts and employers, emphasizing the amazing opportunities available through Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses while highlighting how apprenticeship programs are not only shaping the future workforce but also building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships between schools, businesses, and communities.
