What an incredible evening at the Q2 South Florida Mac Admins Meetup! It was a privilege for Kandji to host this amazing community of passionate professionals who continue to inspire and uplift one another. These meetups are such a powerful reminder of how vibrant and collaborative the Mac Admin community truly is. You’re never surprised by the generosity, support, and knowledge-sharing that happens when we come together. A huge thank you to Arek Dreyer and Jorge Escala for their thought-provoking presentations on Apple Intelligence and the evolving role of AI in the enterprise. The conversations sparked during and after those talks underscored just how important and timely this topic is for all of us. We’re proud to support events like this that help raise the bar for our industry. Looking forward to the next one and continuing to grow, learn, and innovate together. #MacAdmins #AppleInTheEnterprise #CommunityFirst #AI #Kandji #SouthFloridaMacAdmins

Are you getting the most out of Apple Business Manager (ABM)? Most companies think they’re using ABM correctly, but in reality, they’re leaving powerful features untapped. Here’s what we see IT teams overlooking when managing Apple devices: ❌ Not using Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) – Still manually setting up devices? You’re missing out on true zero-touch deployment. ❌ Ignoring Managed Apple Accounts – Employees using personal Apple Accounts = app sprawl, lost access, and security risks. ❌ Not enforcing Activation Lock bypass – If a device is lost or stolen, can IT reclaim it? Many companies don’t have this set up properly. ❌ Skipping Apps and Books purchasing – Are you manually distributing apps? ABM lets you assign and revoke licenses with zero user involvement. If your company is managing Apple devices without fully leveraging ABM, you’re working harder than you need to. What’s your biggest Apple device management challenge right now? #AppleBusinessManager #MDM #AppleIT #DeviceManagement #MacAdmin

Manual configurations don’t scale. Assignment Maps do. Assignment Maps rethink how IT teams scope and configure devices—turning what’s usually a time-consuming process into something intuitive, automated, and reliable. Join Kandji's next Demo Day April 17th to see for yourself how to: • Group devices based on attributes like department, location, or user type • Apply configurations automatically, without the manual overhead • Resolve conflicts in real-time with logic and hierarchy-based rules This is a (virtual) live, hands-on walkthrough straight from some of our Solutions Engineering team - Brian Van Peski, Joe Soliman, and Maz Kahale. 🗓️ Next Thursday, April 17th at 11:00 AM ET 🔗 Sign up here: https://buff.ly/1Pp6TT3 #MacAdmin #DeviceManagement #MDM #ITAutomation #Kandji

🔒 MDM isn't just a device management tool—it sets the foundation of your entire security strategy. We just hosted a session at our Kandji SF office on "The State of MDM & Mac Security" with myself, Saurabh Singhal, and an amazing group of Mac Admins. Over the past 20+ years, Apple has built layer after layer of security into macOS: UNIX architecture. Filevault. Secure Enclave. System Integrity Protection. Signed System Volume. The list goes on... But here's the thing—none of those protections matter if you can't enforce them. That's where MDM comes in. 💡 Without it, security baselines are just suggestions users can ignore. With it, they become real policies—actively enforced and centrally managed. 🚀 At Kandji, we've taken that even further by building EDR and vulnerability management directly into our MDM platform. That means fewer tools, faster response times, and better performance. (Our customers say tasks that took 30+ minutes with traditional EDR now take 5 on Kandji.) It's been amazing to watch Mac security evolve—and even more exciting to help shape what comes next. Thanks to everyone who joined us in SF and our amazing team at Kandji for putting together the event. 🙏 More events coming soon! #MacAdmins #MacAdminCommunity #AppleMDM #MacSecurity #Kandji #EDR #ModernMDM

Imagine an onboarding experience for your users that automates the configuration process; ensuring that freshly enrolled Mac computers are transformed into enterprise-ready devices with all necessary apps, settings, and security controls in place before your users start using them. Kandji's Liftoff feature streamlines this process with ease. Plus it provides you with bonus customization features (like what's shown in this video) that you probably didn't even realize you needed. This is one of the many features we covered in our very first Demo Day. Managing and securing devices doesn’t have to be complicated. Watch the full session to see how Kandji makes it easy: https://buff.ly/7MLXlLX #AppleMDM #MacAdmin #ITSecurity #DeviceManagement #MDM
