The ribbon is cut and the brand-new Advanced Manufacturing Center is officially open at STLCC-Flo Valley! Staff, faculty, students, and community members gathered together to celebrate this accomplishment, enjoying speeches from educators, community partners, and project partners. Since breaking ground in 2023, our team has brought to life a state-of-the-art institution featuring a social stair, green roofs, welding, engineering labs, and a drone enclosure. "As someone born and raised in North County, it is gratifying to support the mission of St. Louis Community College on their Florissant Valley campus. Do you remember that MRI we lifted in through an exterior wall? The 9,350 SF project is now successfully complete for Washington University School of Medicine & Barnes-Jewish Orthopedic Center in Chesterfield, Missouri. The entire process was carefully coordinated with the hospital team to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing patient care within the space and throughout the facility. The project included a MRI suite inside an operational imaging and therapy care space, as well as modifications to existing support areas and therapy rooms to accommodate new imaging equipment. We also updated the administrative area and made arrangements for a future MRI replacement. Our team removed the existing MRI Extremity Room and implemented structural modifications to support and reduce vibration within the existing framework.
