Today’s employee seminar at our Paso Robles winery—led by Red Winemaker Brenden Wood and Assistant Winemaker Brett Vassar—offered a deep dive into the Paso Robles AVA, the locations of our estate vineyards, and a guided tasting of the red varieties that shape our blends. Our commitment to constant improvement—instilled by Jerry Lohr from the very beginning—continues to shape everything we do, starting with our team.

In honor of Women's History Month and Women of the Vine & Spirits' 10th Anniversary, we invite you to join us March 11th, from 2-4pm at the J. The results are in for the 2025 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition - the largest annual professional judging of North American wines! We're excited to share that J. Lohr took home 18 medals, including "Double Gold" for the 2022 J. Lohr Hilltop Cabernet Sauvignon and 2023 J. Lohr Arroyo Vista Chardonnay. The J. Lohr team joined in celebrating the best and brightest in our industry at Wine Enthusiast’s 25th annual Wine Star Awards. Taking place last week at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, it was a special evening honoring the individuals and companies shaping the future of wine, spirits, and beverages. Past Wine Star Award honorees, including our founder Jerry Lohr, were acknowledged during the event, making the night all the more special.
