JBL Pro's SRX900 Series sound system transforms Nashville’s American Legion Post 82 🔊 Despite being a hub for musicians, Post 82’s PA system struggled to deliver clear, powerful audio due to the venue's wide and shallow layout. When musician, Jack White, chose the venue for his No Name album launch, the need for a premium sound system became urgent. He partnered with JBL Pro and Guitar Center Custom House (GCCH), selecting an SRX900 Series system, which included: ➡️ 4 SRX910LA two-way active line array cabinets (two per side of the stage) ➡️ 2 SRX928S dual 18-inch subwoofers for deep, impactful bass ➡️ 2 PRX912 powered two-way loudspeakers for clear and consistent sound The result? JBL Pro takes the Angel Of The Winds Arena to new heights 👆 Angel Of The Winds Arena in Everett, Washington, a 10,000-seat venue for events like hockey games, tradeshows, concerts, and graduations, needed a new sound system to address its complex roof design and a large scoreboard obstructing sound paths. Partnering with Morgan Sound, Inc., the arena installed the VTX A6 system, designed and modeled using JBL’s Venue Synthesis software. The system included 14 arrays of VTX A6 sub-compact dual 6.5-inch line array elements, with ten arrays featuring 12 boxes each. The smaller seating section at the east end was covered by two seven-box arrays. The result? Exploring immersive audio at the JBL Pro APAC Tour Summit ✨🔊 The two-day event featured JBL Pro PRX900 and SRX900 demos, FLUX:: Immersive MiRA & SPAT Revolution demos, a Venue Synthesis walkthrough and much more. Gear included: ➡️ 5 arrays of 5 boxes of VTX A8 loudspeakers, complemented by 6 boxes of VTX B28 subwoofers. ➡️ 5 VTX A6 cabinets strategically placed on top of the subwoofers as a front-fill system. ➡️ 8 arrays of 3 boxes of VTX A6 speakers, creating an immersive audio experience. All loudspeakers were powered by Crown Audio iTech-HD amplifiers and the audio routed through two BSS Audio Soundweb BLU-806 units.
