🎉J29 was recently named as a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) focused “8(a) Small Business to watch in 2025”, recognized by OrangeSlices AI. The "8(a) Business Development Program", monitored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), allows companies an opportunity to leverage their 8(a) socio-economic certification to government agencies with contracting needs. 📖 The SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program was established under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act in 1978. Since then, the U.S. Small Business Administration has been backed with statutory authority to implement the 8(a) program, providing advantages for Federal agencies such as simplifying the procurement process with sole-source contracts (non-competed), streamlining the procurement process, and reducing the time to award services contracts.
