At Iris Wellness Group, we’re proud to stand alongside others working to break the stigma and create pathways to healing for individuals and families. At Iris Wellness Group, we encourage healthier coping strategies—like deep breathing, movement, or simply reaching out to someone you trust. If you or someone you know is looking for support, you don’t have to walk the path alone. • The growth of sports betting in Tennessee has brought more than just excitement—it’s also brought an increase in mental health concerns. Dr. James Whelan from The Gambling Clinic at the University of Memphis shared that many of today’s gambling-related struggles stem from sports betting. Easy access, social acceptance, and the rush of betting can create unhealthy patterns for those already vulnerable. At Iris Wellness Group, we’re committed to providing support, education, and treatment for those facing gambling-related mental health issues. #MentalHealthAwareness #GamblingRecovery #SportsBetting #AddictionSupport #IrisWellnessGroup 💙

  • The Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council is taking an important step in addressing the opioid epidemic by launching a Community Advocacy Panel. This panel will include Tennesseans who have been personally affected by opioid use disorder (OUD) and want to share their experiences to help shape policies and funding decisions. By elevating the voices of those directly impacted, Tennessee aims to develop more effective community-based solutions to combat the crisis. Applications are open now through April 4. If you or someone you know wants to be part of the conversation, this is your chance to make a difference. At Iris Wellness Group, we believe that lived experiences are essential in driving meaningful change. If you’ve been impacted, we encourage you to apply, speak up, and help create a healthier future. #OpioidCrisis #CommunityAdvocacy #IrisWellnessGroup #SubstanceAbuseRecovery #OpioidAwareness
